Time: 50 minutes

Topic: Describing people

Skills: Speaking and writing

Materials:

Steps:

• Step 1: Show the picture above on your whiteboard or give a copy of the picture to each student.

• Step 2: Ask each student to choose one character and describe him/her physically, personality, clothes, age, and so forth. They should not tell anybody who they are describing.

• Step 3: When they are ready, take it in turns for students to share their descriptions with the rest of their peers, without telling the name of their chosen character. The class must guess who their mates are describing. The first who guesses is the next to share his/her description.

Skills: Listening, speaking and writing

Materials: Official UK Trailer 

Steps:

• Step 1: Give your students the following questions and watch the film trailer:

• Who are the women in the film?

• What relationships do you think they have?

• What role might the men in the film play?

• Would you like to learn more about the film now that you have watched the trailer?

Ask your students to share their answers with the rest of the class. Elicit answers and foster conversation.

• Step 2: Now it is your students' turn to create their own story about the characters in the film.

• Step 3: Then watch the film and compare their stories with the story they see in the film.

RETO: HACER UNA VÍDEO RECETA DE UN DULCE O PASTEL

En la película "Una pastelería en Notting Hill" aparecen pasteles y personajes de muchos países del mundo . ¿Te animas a convertirte en protagonista de la película con un pastel de tu país, tu pueblo o tu ciudad?

GUÍA PARA LA TAREA

Cada alumn@ elige una receta de un pastel de su país de origen y graba un video corto cocinando la receta . Se traen los pasteles a clase y se comen en el recreo. Todos los vídeos serán subidos al blog de aula y redes sociales de la clase . Se hace un formulario de votación   y conseguirá el premio como mejor chef  quien consiga más puntos.

2. Practicamos el lenguaje de las recetas en español con lel vídeo interactivo de Profede ELE para aprender a cocinar "Pan de muerto mexicano" y a usar el Imperativo y el vocabulario de recetas.

3. Grabamos un video corto y lo subimos al Canal SomosATAL de Youtube

4. Completamos la encuesta de autoevaluación y votamos nuestra receta favorita en la Google Classroom.
